On Wednesday the Atlantic City Council passed a resolution to sell Bader Field to the city’s Municipal Utilities Authority for $110 million. The sale would help to pay down the city’s huge debt and keep their water system in public hands. The sale will not be finalized until a second approval vote by council at their next meeting and approval by the state. The city’s MUA must borrow the money to pay for the sale by issuing bonds.
