ATLANTIC CITY COP GETS 11 YEARS IN PRISON FOR FRAUD

It’s 11 years in the can for Atlantic City Police Officer Michael L. Jones.  Jones was handed the long prison term for stealing thousands of dollars from a local housing program.  Jones was convicted last month on charges including theft, tax fraud, and official misconduct.  Authorities say Jones rented out an apartment he was supposed to be living in as part of a special police officer program.
