ATLANTIC CITY CONTINUED TO STRUGGLE IN AUGUST

There were a few winners in Atlantic City for August, but numbers remained down overall. Casino revenue dropped five percent compared to August of 2012. Borgata, Resorts, and Revel were the only three casinos to see any increase. Overall on the year, the casinos are down nine percent. The resort has struggled with keeping market share due to the economy and increased competition from other states.
