Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) handled 9 percent more scheduled passengers in the first quarter of 2015 than it did during the same period last year, serving nearly 290,000 passengers during the first three months of the year. Seat capacity also showed a strong gain with a 10.7 percent increase for the quarter. Since the start of 2015, ACY has recruited two new airlines and secured three new nonstop destinations: Nashville and Miami on Choice Aire, and Toronto on Air Canada. The three new cities bring the total number of ACY’s nonstop destinations to 13 during its peak summer season.
