ASSEMBLY VOTES TO TAKE HARDED STANCE AGAINST THOSE WHO DUMP MEDICAL WASTE

The second part of legislation regarding illegal dumping of medical waste has been passed. The Assembly unanimously passed legislation that would suspend the license of a doctor who dumped medical waste. This bill was put together follow medical waste washing up on the beaches of a number of Cape May County communities. A measure became law previously that would increase fines on these individuals. The legislation was proposed by Assemblymen Nelson Albano, Matt Milam, and Louis Greenwald.
