A vote is expected Thursday on providing in-state tuition rates to undocumented students. The bill was put before Gov. Chris Christie before but he vetoed it based on his belief that too much was being provided in the legislation for the students. This measure the Assembly will vote on includes financial aid assistance, which Christie appears to not support. He could conditionally veto this new bill if he so chooses and the legislature would have to decide whether to accept the changes or not.
