ASSEMBLY TO DISCUSS $400 MILLION MISTAKE ON TUESDAY

New Jersey lawmakers will begin to discuss a very embarrassing mistake made by the Christie administration this summer.  The Assembly Appropriations Committee will hold a hearing on Tuesday to talk about the state’s mistake that cost $400 million in education funding.  A critical mistake with an application submission for “Race to the Top” funding was made, and it cost the state a chance to get free federal funding.  Democrats have lambasted the Christie administration over the error.
