ASSEMBLY TO CONSIDER SEXUAL AB– USE AND MARRIAGE WAIT BILLS

Sexual abuse victims may soon have more recourse. The Assembly Judiciary Committee will consider a bill to remove the statute of limitations in civil actions for sexual abuse on Thursday. It would still need to go before the full Assembly at a later date. Also, the Assembly will consider a bill to eliminate the waiting period for marriage and civil union licenses
