ARRESTS IN ATLANTIC CITY DURING TAJ MAHAL PROTEST

Atlantic City Police made numerous arrests during a protest late Wednesday afternoon in the city.  Local 54 members were protesting Carl Ichan’s plan to dump health insurance benefits for workers at the Taj Mahal Casino.  The protest made its way downtown where traffic was blocked off and some protesters were warned by police before they were arrested.
