ARREST MADE IN ATLANTIC CITY EASTER HOME INVASION

On Thursday a man who allegedly killed a dog during an armed home invasion in Atlantic City was arrested after a raid by the city’s SWAT team. The 19 year-old man, Akram Daughtry, was one of two men who broke into a home on Easter Sunday on the 1000 block of North Ohio Avenue, allegedly killing a dog in the process. The seven people inside the home were not injured  in the attack. Daughtry is being charged with seven counts of robbery and two counts of animal cruelty. The investigation of the incident is ongoing.
