ARREST MADE AFTER ROBBERY OF GREEN’S LIQUOR

A Wildwood man was arrested for the robbery on a liquor store. Wildwood Police were called Thursday evening to investigate the armed robbery of Green’s Liquor. Police conducted an investigation and took Shawn Prendergast into custody for the incident. Authorities recovered clothing, sneakers, and a bag utilized in committing the robbery. He was charged with robbery, weapon possession charges, and hindering apprehension. Bail was set at $185,000 bail. Prendergast was placed in the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of posting bail.
