ARREST MADE AFTER ASSAULT ON POLICE OFFICER

A vehicle sped away during a traffic stop in Galloway Township. The police officer sustained minor injuries. The vehicle was found a short distance away and the driver had fled on foot. Heroin was found inside of the vehicle. The driver has been identified as James Gallaway, of Galloway Township. The Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Gallaway. He is a black male, 35 years old, 5’8” tall and weighing approximately 160 lbs. with a slender build. He frequents Galloway Township and Pleasantville.
