Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel
A Pleasantville man was sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey State prison for numerous crimes committed in 2008, 2009, and 2010, including armed robbery, weapons offenses, aggravated assault and eluding police. Under the terms ofnthe plea agreement, Terrence D. Philo, 21, of New Jersey Avenue, must serve 85% percent of the prison term, or 8 years and 6 months, before being eligible for parole.
Prior to Friday’s sentencing, Philo pleaded guilty to robbing a convenience store clerk in Pleasantville on November 29, 2008 while armed with a firearm.
