On Friday papers were filed in court by ACR Energy Partners, who supplied power to the former Revel casino. ARC claims that Glen Straub, Revels new owner, is trying to flip the property and put them out of business. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the two sides are in a “knock-down-drag-out war” over the ARC power plant, located across the street from the Revel. In April developer Straub bought the Revel property for $82 million, including leased land on which ARC built their power plant. According to the report, Straub wishes to evict ARC from the land and use other power resources for the building.
