The status of a bond ordinance that would allow the purchase of a backhoe as well as other capital equipment may mean each property owner in the Borough of West Wildwood would have to dig deeper in their pocket to the tune of $120. According to borough officials, many of the items listed for purchase in the appealed bond ordinance were to replace equipment that has reached the end of its lifespan. A decision by the New Jersey Superior Court regarding the ordinance has been challenged by the borough’s current administration. A decision by the New Jersey Appellate Court is pending.
