AP: NOT MANY APPLYING FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE

A new report says very few residents are applying for federal help, in the wake of the flooding from the March storms. The AP reports that around 6,300 applications were sent out for people to get assistance and only around 250 came back. A majority of the assistance that has been given out by the Small Business Administration was in the form of low-interest loans.
