ANOTHER LOCAL BRIDGE GETS STUCK “UP”

This time, it was Stone Harbor’s turn to get a county bridge stuck in the upright position.  A piece of concrete became wedged in machinery on the 96th Street drawbridge on Tuesday, causing the bridge to malfunction in the “up” position for nearly an hour and a half.  Motorists had to use Avalon Boulevard or North Wildwood Boulevard to exit Stone Harbor Tuesday morning.  The problem has been repaired.
