A well known North Jersey Catholic school will shut its doors for good in June. Cardinal McCarrick/St. Mary’s High School in South Amboy will close for good in June. The diocese said there was no other choice as enrollment dropped. Cardinal McCarrick is most known by families in South Jersey because of state basketball games played between schools like Wildwood Catholic and Cardinal McCarrick.
