ANOTHER BATTLE OVER PROTECTIVE DUNES HEATS UP IN NJ

Another battle over protective dunes is heating up in New Jersey.  Nine oceanfront property owners in Bay Head are asking a judge to rule that the state cannot take their properties to build protective dunes.  Court papers were filed in the case on Friday.  The state is attempting to use eminent domain to acquire easements needed for a dune project.
