The 28th Annual Whitesboro Family Reunion was moved indoors Labor Day weekend, due to morning rain and high winds. The annual event sponsored by the Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro was held in the Martin Luther King Center in town on Saturday and Sunday to continue the tradition of honoring community leaders and promoting positive messages for young people. Speakers at the event included Lynda Anderson Towns, retired superintendent pf the Woodbine school district, and Stedman Graham, executive director of the CCW.
