A family of three from Middle Township appeared in court again on Monday as their trial on animal cruelty charges entered it’s second week. Leann Thomas, 20, of Goshen, took the stand to explain why the dogs under her care were found in deplorable conditions. The SPCA seized 61 dogs from Thomas and her parents, who claim they were saving the dogs from animal kill shelters and putting them up for adoption. The trial reportedly will wrap up this week, and a decision will be rendered by Judge Raymond Batten.
