Large cuts need to be made by the Wildwood and Wildwood Crest school district. The commissions in each municipality took money from the proposed budget, after voters shot each measure down. Dennis Anderson, the superintendent of each district, tells Coastal Broadcasting that his staff is working on coming up with more cuts to satisfy the governments. Wildwood removed $320,000, while Wildwood Crest cut $75,000. Anderson said it was too early to say if more job cuts will take place as a result. So far, just under 20 jobs have been eliminated between the districts as school budgets are becoming more lean. Anderson says the district will look across the board to see where dollars can be saved.
