A football tradition continues between Lower Cape May Regional and Middle Township on Thanksgiving. The two teams will face off in the annual Anchor Bowl, which didn’t happen last year because Lower Cape May Regional had to forfeit a number of games on their schedule. Besides last year, the annual tradition has been played ever year since 1948. Middle Township comes into the game at 3-6. Lower Cape May Regional is 1-9. The game kickoffs at 10 a.m. at Memorial Field in Cape May Court House.
