The Cape May County Zoo has welcomed a new visitor to Cape May County for the summer season. The zoo will be home to an Albino American Alligator until the middle of September. There are only fifty known Albino American Alligators in the World! The alligator which is on loan from the St. Augustine Alligator Farm is on exhibit in the zoo’s Reptile House.
More than 250 species and over 500 animals call the Cape May County Zoo home. The free 85-acre zoo, located at 707 Route 9 North (exit 11 off the Garden State Parkway), is currently open from 10 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. For additional information please call 465-5271 or visit www.capemaycountygov.com
