A big controversy in Trenton relating to a speeding ticket given to Cape May County Assemblyman Nelson Albano. The Associated Press reports that Albano says he got a speeding ticket as a payback for health benefit and pension changes approved by the legislature in Trenton. Meanwhile, the trooper who gave Albano the ticket claims that a police union urged him to make the ticket disappear. The ticket was issued to Albano by State Trooper Randy Pangborn. Albano admits that he urged the trooper not to give him the speeding ticket.
