AL SHARPTON WEIGHS IN ON BRIDGETON SHOOTING

On Thursday  the Rev. Al Sharpton’s civil rights organization commented on the shooting of Jerame Reid by Bridgeton police officers on Dec. 30th. The National Action Network released a statement saying it was joining other activist groups, urging the N.J. state government to investigate the shooting. The group says that local officials should not handle the investigation, especially after the Cumberland County prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae recused herself because she knows one of the police officers involved.
