AIR QUALITY ALERT IN EFFECT FOR WEDNESDAY

Heat and high humidity levels have returned to South Jersey until a cold front clears the air by the weekend. A code orange air alert is in effect for our region for Wednesday. Air pollution concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for sensitive groups, including children, the elderly, and people suffering from asthma, heart disease or other lung diseases. The effects of air pollution can be minimized by avoiding strenuous activity or outdoor exercise.
