Talks are underway to bring Air Canada service to Atlantic City. The Press of Atlantic City was the first to report on a subsidy to bring the company into the resort. The state would pay $705,000 to Air Canada to bring service into the airport. Spirit Airlines is the only major carrier that flies into ACY. A number of companies have tried but none have stuck. United Airlines was the latest to drop Atlantic City last year after just seven months of service to Houston and Chicago.
