On Sunday at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, the AHL’s Albany Devils lost 3-2 in a shootout to the Adirondack Phantoms. The announced crowd of 5,135 was the largest of the year by over 1,100 for the Devils, who are playing four games in Atlantic City this season. However, most of the fans in attendance were rooting for the Phantoms, who are the Philadelphia Flyers AHL affiliate team. Albany’s final hockey game at Boardwalk Hall this season will be February 24th against the Hershey Bears.
