AFFORDABLE HOUSING BILL CONDITIONALLY VETOED

A bill changing affordable housing in the state has been conditionally vetoed by Gov. Chris Christie. The Governor supported a version of the bill that was passed through the Senate last summer, but the Assembly passed their own bill that was amended with the Senate version and sent to Christie for his signature. Christie sent a version of the bill back that was just like the original Senate version. The bill will abolish the Council on Affordable Housing.
