ACCIDENT UNDER INVESTIGATION IN EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP

Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in Egg Harbor Township on Saturday. A 2011 Toyota Avalon operated by Helene Goldman, 76 years of age of Egg Harbor Township, was attempting to exit Village Grande onto Mill Road when it is believed she suffered a medical issue and lost control of her vehicle. The vehicle continued through the median, some landscaping, back onto the roadway before leaving the roadway again and hitting a vinyl fence. She was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Campus in serious condition. Traffic was detoured for approximately an hour and a half while the crash was being investigated and cleared.
