An Ocean City woman died in an Upper Township crash. The accident took place on Saturday afternoon and Joan Ponton was pronounced dead at the scene. Ponton’s vehicle crossed into the opposite lane of traffic and hit a tractor-trailer. The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were not injured. The accident remains under investigation.
