No way will Atlantic City extend tax breaks to the Trump Taj Mahal. Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian said Monday he will not offer huge tax breaks to the casino in an attempt to keep the gaming hall open for business. The Taj Mahal is looking for major concessions from lenders, debtors, and the city in order to have any chance to stay open. Billionaire Carl Ichan has offered $100 million to keep the Taj Mahal from closing its doors, and will do so only with major concessions.
