Atlantic City Electric says it’s preparing for the winter storm that will impact South Jersey through this evening. The utility advises customers that heavy wet snow can weight down tree limbs and bring them into contact with power lines that can cause outages. Atlantic City Electric will adjust its workforce with the timing of the bad weather. Currently about 135 internal linemen and contractors are working on the system and available, if needed.
