About 15,000 electric customers in Cape May County are without power on Sunday morning. Atlantic City Electric reports that there are still widespread outages largely in barrier island communities including Avalon, Stone Harbor, the Wildwoods, and other spots along the coast. Now that the winds have quieted, it is possible for linemen to safely work in bucket trucks to begin restoring power to these customers. Crews will be working today and tomorrow.
