Halloween is a dangerous time of year for children. AAA says that children are twice as likely to be killed on Halloween than any other night. On a night when many children spend hours in close proximity to cars as they trick-or-treat through neighborhoods, pedestrian safety should be a top priority for motorists and parents. Police departments are warning motorists and parents to be more careful on this day to avoid any fatalities.
