A.C. TEEN ARRESTED FOR GUN POSSESSION

A 17 year-old male was arrested Wednesday for weapons possession after a struggle with police. Atlantic City Police report that a gun fell to the ground from the teenager’s waistband as police approached at about 10 o’clock on the 800 block of Maryland Avenue.  According to police, a violent struggle occurred between officers and the suspect to retrieve the weapon. The teen was also in possession of marijuana and is being held at Harbor Fields Detention Center in Egg Harbor City.
