A.C. MAN PLEADS GUILTY IN BABY’S DEATH

On Wednesday a 20 year-old Atlantic City man pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in the death of his girlfriend’s infant son last September. Daquan Davis said he shook the 6 month-old baby, Yusuf Stewart-Ali, because he wouldn’t stop crying. The infant was pronounced dead at his mother’s apartment after she called 911 following the incident. Davis is expected to receive a 12-year prison sentence in exchange for the guilty plea. Sentencing will occur on October 25th.
