Bridgeton police are investigating a home invasion Saturday night that left a 94-year-old man suffering from several serious injuries also at Cooper University Hospital. Police said the incident went unreported for more than 12 hours as the victim could not contact police or relatives due to the attack and subsequent injuries. The victim, who police are not identifying at this time, was flown to Cooper suffering from head injuries and was in stable condition late Sunday. According to reports, two suspects forced open a rear door to the victim’s W. Lincoln St. address and threatened him with a knife demanding money assaulting him physically in the process. An investigation is on-going.
