A 9/11 artifact has found a home at the Atlantic City International Airport. On Monday a piece of steel recovered from the World Trade Center was presented to the airport by Bill Baroni, Deputy Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The artifact is mounted on a monument in front of the airport terminal, accessible to airport employees and travelers. Officials want the public to not only see the memorial, but be able to touch it, and remember those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001.
