The Philadelphia 76ers landed the number one overall pick in this year’s NBA Draft and already there are conspiracy theories. Former Sixer Dikembe Mutombo tweeted congratulations to the Sixers for landing the top pick several hours before the announcement was made…and quickly deleted the tweet. The last time major conspiracy theories were out there were in the 1980s when the Knicks landed the top overall in the pick; some believe the fix was in so the Knicks could select Patrick Ewing and become relevant.
