70+MPH WINDS, DAMAGE FROM WIND AT JERSEY CAPE

It’s a day for damage assessment for property owners at the Jersey Shore after wind gusts that topped 70mph blew through Friday during the coastal storm.  In Cape May, a roof blew off a commercial building near a hardware store and landed on an adjacent roof; a wind gust of 71mph was reported in Dennis Township.
