The number of dead dolphins recovered at the Jersey Shore now stands at 71 since July 9th. The Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine reports that two more dolphins were recovered in Sea Girt and Brigantine over the weekend. On Sunday dead dolphins were found at Island Beach State Park, Stone Harbor, and off the bay in Strathmere. Marine experts are still trying to pinpoint their cause of death.
