A about 7 p.m. Sunday night over 500 homes in Egg Harbor Township, Pleasantville and Northfield lost power from Atlantic City Electric. Police were in the affected areas to monitor traffic as crews investigated the cause of the outage. A spokesman for the electric company told The Press of Atlantic City that the outage was caused by a problem with a feeder line. As of Monday morning all customers in the area had their power restored.
