48 NEW CORONAVIRUS DEATHS IN NEW JERSEY, RATE OF TRANSMISSION CLIMBS

The coronavirus pandemic has claimed an additional 48 lives in New Jersey over the past 24 hours.  New figures released by the State show 2,820 new cases of the virus, and a slight increase in the rate of transmission.  There has been a sharp decline in hospitalizations over the past two months.
