Comcast has struck a deal for you to be able to watch sports in 3-D. Comcast is the first cable company to agree to carry ESPN 3-D on cable; DirecTV said they will on their service as well. ESPN 3-D is going to present a number of sports in 3-D, including many World Cup matches. Only people with 3-D televisions will be able to get the service and watch the game.
