21 BECOME AMERICAN CITIZENS IN NATURALIZATION CEREMONY

Cape May County hosted its first ever naturalization ceremony on Thursday. In total, 21 people became American citizens on Law Day. Superior Court Judge Julio Mendez was in charge of the ceremony. Mendez himself is a naturalized citizen. All of the new citizens were encouraged to take apart of American democracy, especially to vote and participate in local government.
