14 ARRESTED IN ATLANTIC CITY DRUG GANG BUST

Atlantic City’s Violent Crime Task Force rounded up 14 members of an alleged drug-trafficking gang in the city. On Tuesday 14 gang members of the 800 Blok GMD were arrested in raids throughout the city with the assistance of the Atlantic City SWAT team. According to local officials, the 800 Block and Dirty Blok gangs are responsible for most of the gun violence in Atlantic City. The operation followed months of undercover investigation and surveillance of the 800 Blok’s cocaine trafficking by a task force comprised of personnel from state and local police and sheriff’s departments.
