Madie Gibson scored her 1,000th career point as the Lower Cape May girls basketball team picked up a big 45-36 win over Ocean City on Friday evening. Gibson becomes the seventh player in Lower Cape May history to hit the magical 1,000 point mark. With the win, Lower Cape May improved to 22-1 and captured a share of the CAL National Division title.
