$1 MILLION TICKET SET TO EXPIRE THIS MONTH

A Powerball ticket sold in New Jersey and worth $1 million could soon be forfeited. Lottery officials confirm that a ticket sold on Sept. 18 last year in North Bergen will expire this month if it goes unclaimed. Lottery winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize. The ticket properly picked all five of the main numbers in the drawing, but missed the final Powerball number.
